Math-U-See placement help before you buy
Take the placement list with you
One printable list of the publisher's own test or level guide for 25 math, reading and language arts programs.
If you are choosing a Math-U-See level, use its official placement tool before buying materials. It asks yes/no questions about the math your child has mastered and offers example problems when you need clarity. Review its recommendation, then ask a Placement Specialist if you need help understanding the result.
Your next step
Work through the questionnaire with your child, using its example problems where needed. The results include a placement recommendation and links to materials. The tool’s “Need Help?” button offers assistance along the way.
Questions parents ask
Does the tool give a placement recommendation?
Yes. Its “Review Results” section says you will receive a placement recommendation and links to the materials you need.
What if the questions do not settle it?
Use the example problems for clarity or ask a Placement Specialist for help with the results.
